On July 14, CASA Corridor was pleased to participate in the Give-A-Kid-A-Chance event held at Athens Regional Park.  The is the first year for the event here in McMinn County and coordinators expected a large turnout.  At this event, McMinn County children who have had their annual EPSDT are given backpacks and school supplies for the upcoming school year. There are also exhibits by community agencies related to children's welfare.  Thanks to Gail Benton, TENNderCARE Outreach Coordinator, for inviting us to participate in this worthwhile event!  Look for CASA at the Rhea County Give-A-Kid-A-Chance event on Thursday, July 28th, 2011.
